The Saturdays Tour - Day Eight: Nottingham
Phew - busy day! After a nice day off yesterday, it was straight back into the swing of things. But before we could even think about Nottingham, we had something else to attend to…
Yep, here we are with the wonderful Katie at LincsFM where we recorded an interview and an exclusive acoustic session. We did Dirty Dancer (which sounds sick on the guitar) and our special Xmas cover. They seemed to really love it and we hope you will too, so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open to find out when they’ll be airing that!
Entertainment for the travels came in the form of Alex’s Mean Girls DVD. What a classic. Is it just us or does that film never get boring, no matter how many times you watch it.
We’ve also been working on a little cover that we can hopefully surprise you all with at some point, it’s a song a lot of you will know but we’re going to keep it a secret for now ;)
A quick thanks to Jade (in her Oh My! t-shirt) who we met outside when we arrived and all the other dudes who were there with her and had been waiting since this morning just a get a glimpse of The Saturdays. Can’t believe they stand out in the cold for so long, tempted to start taking some official Oh My! hats and gloves for them…
Nottingham’s arena was a lot of fun to wander around. We walked in on a team of kids in the middle of an ice skating lesson and we were dying to join in. Jade even asked the man who was recovering the ice if she could have a ride on his little vehicle, but he wasn’t impressed :(
